This school is seeking a motivated and capable General Science Teacher to join their Science department on a 1-term contract for the Autumn Term 2025. This role is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make a meaningful short-term contribution to student learning.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

• Teach General Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.

• Mark and assess student work, providing timely and constructive feedback.

• Track pupil progress and contribute to intervention strategies where necessary.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and participation in the classroom.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in teaching and learning.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• A qualified teacher (QTS required) with strong subject knowledge across the Science disciplines.

• A confident and adaptable practitioner, capable of quickly integrating into a new team.

• Someone who sets high expectations and builds positive relationships with students as a General Science Teacher.
