General Science Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You’ll be supporting schools in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas, teaching General Science across Key Stages.
Duties as General Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics following provided plans
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress where required
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
- Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the wider school community
Ideal General Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Adaptable and confident working across different schools and year groups
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
