General Science Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Attleborough and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality learning experiences across the Science curriculum.
Duties as General Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics following provided plans
- Teach practical and theory-based content safely and effectively
- Support students in developing scientific understanding and investigative skills
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Adapt teaching strategies to support learners with a range of needs
- Contribute to departmental planning during longer-term placements
Ideal General Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners across various year groups
- Adaptable across different school environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
