General Science Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for General Science Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Bodmin and the surrounding areas.
Duties as General Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different year groups and abilities
- Follow school planning or create short-term lesson plans where needed
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Mark work and provide feedback when required
- Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth handovers
Ideal General Science Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confident teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management and adaptability
- Reliable, flexible, and professional
- Able to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff as a General Science Teacher
- Experience in secondary settings preferred but not essential
