​Step Teachers are working on behalf of a secondary school in East Finchley that is seeking an outstanding Maths Teacher to join their successful department. This role will commence in September 2022 and will be available on a full-time, permanent basis and will lead the Maths team as their Head of Department.

This school is an “outstanding” Ofsted-rated school that has been praised for the head teacher’s clear, unwavering vision that is focused on supporting pupils to achieve highly across the curriculum. The students receive an outstanding education in this school where the teachers have high expectations.

The role will require:

• Have a strong curriculum knowledge from KS3 through to KS5

• Have the ability to plan engaging, inspirational lessons across all abilities

• Have the adaptability and suitability to fit in with a well-established team

• Set high standards and expectations for the achievements of all pupils

Requirements

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• An undergraduate degree in English is desirable

• Have recent experience teaching English
