History Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an inspiring and committed History Teacher to join a forward-thinking and supportive humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to ignite curiosity and foster a love of the past in young learners. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a History Teacher:
Deliver high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
Create engaging schemes of work that encourage critical thinking and historical analysis
Monitor and assess student progress, offering effective feedback and support
Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular historical initiatives
Ideal History Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in History or a related subject
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a History Teacher.
A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds
