Step Teachers have been asked to recruit a History Teacher for our client school in Haringey who are looking for a History Teacher for a full-time position, teaching up to Key Stage 4 along with Citizenship to Key Stage 3. This is a permanent post starting in September 2020 however due to current circumstances the school is happy to interview remotely as soon as possible.

The ideal History Teacher:

• You will have a PGCE and QTS as well as History related undergraduate degree
• Demonstrable experience delivering GCSE History according to the UK Curriculum, previous experience delivering citizenship is desirable
• You should have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning, demonstrating the ability to incorporate national trends and data sets into your approach
• At the heart of everything you do will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to exceed expectations
