We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Humanities Teacher to join a school on a long-term supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or strong ECT to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment. The role involves teaching a combination of History, Geography, and possibly Religious Studies at Key Stages 3 and 4. Starting September 2025.

Duties as a Humanities Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Humanities subjects

• Use existing schemes of work to ensure curriculum coverage

• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour management

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback

• Collaborate with the Humanities department to ensure consistency and support

Ideal Humanities Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Humanities in a secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management skills as a Humanities Teacher.

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

• A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
