Step Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2 day per week Intervention Teacher to join a primary school based in Barnet focussing on Year 2 - Year 6. As an Intervention Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted support and assistance to students who require additional academic help to succeed. Responsibilities as a part-time Intervention Teacher:
- Identify students in need of academic intervention through assessments, observations, and collaboration with colleagues
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address students' specific learning needs and goals
- Provide individual or small-group instruction to students, focusing on areas of difficulty and reinforcing key concepts
- Monitor students' progress regularly and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and other support staff to coordinate efforts and maximise student success
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding students' progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of intervention activities, student performance data, and progress reports
