We are thrilled to announce a fantastic long-term supply position for a KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant Year 2 class, starting in May 2024 and extending until the end of the academic year.

Position: KS1 Teacher (Year 2) Location: Norwich, Norfolk Start Date: May 2024 Duration: Until the end of the academic year

The Role: As a Key Stage 1 Teacher within our esteemed school, you will have the invaluable opportunity to engage and nurture the intellectual curiosity of our Year 2 students. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that promote academic achievement, personal growth, and social development. 

Key Responsibilities of a KS1 Teacher :

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Key Stage 1 curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture where every student feels valued, respected, and encouraged to participate.
  • Use formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies that promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

Requirements of a KS1 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1, preferably with experience in Year 2.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of every student.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
