Job description

KS1 Teacher – Full-time, long-term position starting as soon as possible
 
This is a great opportunity for KS1 Teachers looking for a long-term role in Didcot and the surrounding areas. Duties as KS1 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support pupil development
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil attainment and behaviour
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 or primary settings
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Committed to pupil progress and well-being
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a KS1 Teacher
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
