Job description

Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Enfield to recruit a full-time KS2 Class Teacher to join their team starting in January 2024. This is an "Good" Ofsted-rated school supported by an ambitious leadership team that want the best for their pupils, who have fun and are engaged in their learning. The school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Class Teacher who will readily engage with the school’s ambitious, safe and friendly atmosphere. For the right candidate this role may transition into a permanent position with additional leadership opportunities.

Role:

  • Good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
  • Have recent mainstream primary school-based experience
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
