KS2 Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire pupils in their learning journey during a crucial stage of primary education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations for all pupils.
Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress, using this to inform future planning.
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional educational needs.
Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and development.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, encouraging responsibility, respect, and independence.
Contribute to school life through involvement in events, activities, and enrichment opportunities.
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment procedures.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills as a KS2 Teacher.
A reflective and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
A commitment to ongoing professional development.
A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
