Job description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire pupils in their learning journey during a crucial stage of primary education. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations for all pupils.

  • Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress, using this to inform future planning.

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional educational needs.

  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and development.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, encouraging responsibility, respect, and independence.

  • Contribute to school life through involvement in events, activities, and enrichment opportunities.

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

  • A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment procedures.

  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills as a KS2 Teacher.

  • A reflective and flexible approach to teaching and learning.

  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
