Job description

Step Teachers is in partnership with a primary school located on the outskirts of Huntingdon, and we are actively seeking a Part-Time Primary Teacher to join their team for a short-term position starting ASAP.

Primary Teacher Role:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons with skill.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and oversee the secure use and storage of educational resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members throughout the school.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and consistently implement them.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Bring recent experience from mainstream primary school settings.
  • Exhibit strong classroom management skills, particularly in handling student behaviour.
