Step Teachers and a Primary School in Mitcham, Surrey are partnering to hire a committed and enthusiastic full-time KS2 Teacher for the next academic year (starting in September 2024).
This is a "Good" rated Ofsted school where teachers cultivate strong relationships with students and their families, starting from the early years. This partnership begins when children first enter early education. Staff invite parents into classrooms to read and engage with their children. The well-being and personal development of both students and staff are highly prioritized.
Position: KS2 teacher (Flexible with the year)
Location: Mitcham
Duration: Full-time, 1 academic year starting in September 2024
KS2 Teacher Role:
- As a KS2 Teacher, a solid knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is desirable
- Maintain a tidy, organized classroom with accessible resources as needed
- Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom when applicable
- Willingness to comply with the school's policies and implement them effectively
Requirements:
- Hold QTS or its equivalent
- Have recent experience in mainstream school settings as a KS2 Teacher
