Job description

KS2 Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible
 
These flexible opportunities are ideal for KS2 Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings.

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers
  • Adapt quickly to new school environments and routines

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching KS2 in UK primary schools
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to working across different settings
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
