Job description
KS2 Teacher – Full-time, day-to-day supply starting asap
These flexible opportunities are ideal for KS2 teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils in Years 3 to 6 across a range of schools in Abingdon and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging lessons and helping children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and independent learning.
Duties as KS2 Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to KS2 pupils across various schools
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners
- Support children’s academic and emotional development
- Collaborate with support staff and senior leaders to ensure effective provision
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide feedback and contribute to pupil progress reviews
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS2 in mainstream primary settings
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a KS2 Teacher
- Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different schools
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
