KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a Key Stage 2 team in a welcoming and supportive school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ learning and development during these formative years. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons

• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

• Help to create a positive, inclusive and well-organised classroom

• Assist with planning, resources, and classroom displays

• Support pupils' emotional, social, and academic progress

• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote pupil wellbeing

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Has experience working with children, ideally in KS2

• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent)

• Is positive, patient, and proactive

• Communicates well with pupils, staff, and parents

• Works effectively as part of a team and independently when needed as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
