KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality education and support to pupils in Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development during this crucial stage of their education. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.

• Provide individual and small group support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs.

• Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.

• Support the emotional, social, and behavioural development of pupils.

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a KS2 setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
