Job description
We are looking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality education and support to pupils in Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development during this crucial stage of their education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Work closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
Provide individual and small group support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
Support the emotional, social, and behavioural development of pupils.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with children, ideally within a KS2 setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
