Job description

Step Teachers have been asked by an Ofsted rated school of ‘Good’ status in North London to recruit an innovative and devoted Learning Support Assistant for a full-time role. This role is permanent and is set to commence in April.

This position is exclusive to Step Teachers!

The successful candidate will be based in a reception class but there may be a requirement to work in other year groups if necessary. The school has asked for the candidate to have the following attributes:

  • Passionate about children’s progress and achievement
  • Put children at the heart of everything they do
  • A strong team player who leads by example and learns from others
  • Hard worker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Takes an approach that makes learning exciting
  • Able to adapt to new situations and take on any task with confidence

Education based childcare qualifications (e.g. CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education) are also desirable.
