Job description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting. This is a long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible, with the potential to become permanent.

Duties as an Early Years Practitioner:

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.

  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring individual needs are met.

  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s development.

  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the setting.

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

 

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential).

  • Proven experience working within an early years setting.

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as an Early Years Practitioner.

  • A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
