Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, can take initiative in the classroom, and is committed to helping every pupil succeed. Starting ASAP.

Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Work alongside the class teacher to plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons

• Provide targeted one-to-one or small-group support to pupils, including those with additional needs

• Lead learning activities independently when required, using your Level 3 training

• Assist with assessment, record-keeping, and progress monitoring

• Help maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment

• Support the wider life of the school through clubs, trips, and enrichment activities

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Recent experience supporting learning in a school setting

• Strong literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills as Teaching Assistant.

• Excellent communication and behaviour management abilities

• A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach

• A valid DBS/Police clearance or willingness to obtain one
