Maths and Design Technology Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from as soon as possible until July 2026

Duties as Maths and Design Technology Teacher:

Deliver engaging Maths and Design Technology lessons up to KS3 using pre-prepared materials
Support pupil understanding without planning responsibilities
Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment
Assess pupil progress informally during lessons and provide clear feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote positive routines
Collaborate with colleagues to support cohesive curriculum delivery
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure pupil welfare

Ideal Maths and Design Technology Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience teaching Maths and Design Technology
Strong subject knowledge in both Maths and DT at KS3
Confident classroom management skills
Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
Good communication and organisational skills
Commitment to supporting pupil well-being and progress
