Maths Skills Instructor – Full-time, temporary to permanent position starting January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Skills Instructor to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. Duties as Maths Skills Instructor:

Deliver targeted maths instruction to support pupils’ core numeracy skills
Plan and implement engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
Collaborate with teaching staff to support whole-school maths initiatives
Provide intervention support for pupils requiring additional help
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Maths Skills Instructor:

Experience teaching or tutoring maths in a school or educational setting
Strong understanding of numeracy development and intervention strategies
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
