Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a committed teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5, depending on experience). Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote mathematical understanding and enthusiasm
Use a variety of teaching strategies to support all learners and raise attainment
Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively
Contribute to the development of the maths curriculum and department resources
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Engage in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and school events
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in mathematics or a related subject
Experience teaching maths at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics
Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills as a Maths Teacher.
