​Step Teachers are currently looking to employ a qualified Maths Teacher to start a full time, permanent role in a local Plymouth Secondary School. The role is set to start in September 2022, and will include full marking and planning responsibilities. The school would love to hear from both ECT’s and more experienced teachers. Based in the centre of Plymouth, this school sets very high standards for its pupils, so it is important that the candidate has a strong curriculum knowledge and is able to promote strong levels of progress across the board. Initially, the post holder will be expected to teach up to, and including, GCSE level Maths.

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

• Hold a PGCE or teaching qualification that grants QTS (Final year students who are looking to qualify this year can also be considered.)

• Have referenced work with children in a Secondary setting (this can be from a recent placement if necessary.)

• Have an undergraduate degree in Maths.

• Has the ability to make the subject area fun and engaging for pupils.
