Job description

We have been asked by a school in Watford to recruit a bright and ambitious Maths Teacher for a temp-to-perm role starting January 2019. This Maths Teacher role will initially be for 1 term, however the role will be advertised and the successful candidate would be encouraged to take up the post permanently.

The ideal Maths Teacher;
- Will hold QTS or QTLS, and NQTs are welcome to apply as well as experienced teachers.
- You must have experience of teaching the Maths Curriculum to at least Key Stage 4.
- You will be confident with classroom management strategies.
- Your planning and assessment strategies will enhance the progress of your students and allow you to track and tailor your lessons.

This is a school which has a very supportive and encouraging SLT who work hard to deliver excellent CPD and encourage internal promotion. Behaviour standards are good overall and the school is a welcoming and friendly place to teach.
