Maths Teacher – Full-time or Part-time, starting as soon as possible
We are seeking enthusiastic Maths Teachers to work across a variety of secondary schools in Lowestoft and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings.
Duties as Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons following the national curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure pupil progress
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil achievement
- Ensure safeguarding and school policies are adhered to at all times
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
