Media Studies Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role (2 days per week) starting in February 2026

Duties as Media Studies Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons across Key Stages
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and participation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in school-wide initiatives
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils

Ideal Media Studies Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire a passion for media and creative arts
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
  • A proactive approach to promoting pupil progress and achievement
