Media Studies Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role (2 days per week) starting in February 2026

Duties as Media Studies Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons across Key Stages
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and participation
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning
Maintain accurate records and participate in school-wide initiatives
Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils

Ideal Media Studies Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire a passion for media and creative arts
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
A proactive approach to promoting pupil progress and achievement
