​Step Teachers are working with a secondary school in the City of Westminister to source an MFL teacher. This role is a full-time post and is available from September 2022 for 1 term and then for the right candidate, it may be offered on a permanent basis. This will require you to teach Spanish at key stages 3 & 4 and key stage 5 French.

This school is an “outstanding” Ofsted-rated school that has been praised for its leadership across all levels with exemplary student behaviour. The school have progress that is much higher than the national average with the quality of teaching being outstanding.

The Role:

  • Strong MFL curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and them implement effectively

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching MFL

  • Relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
