MFL Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a vibrant languages department from October 2025. You will inspire pupils to develop a love of languages and help them achieve their full potential across all key stages taught.
Duties as MFL Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in your specialist language(s).
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and setting challenging targets.
Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and extracurricular activities such as language clubs or trips.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Promote cultural awareness and an appreciation for global diversity.
Ideal MFL Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in at least one modern foreign language (preferably more than one).
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an MFL Teacher.
Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.
