Music Teacher – Full-time, temporary ongoing role from January 2026
This full-time Music Teacher role begins in January 2026 and offers an ongoing temporary opportunity in a vibrant and inclusive secondary school. Pupils are enthusiastic and enjoy their learning, supported by staff who have high expectations and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum. Duties as Music Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Inspire creativity and musical appreciation through practical and theoretical activities
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
- Prepare pupils for performances, assessments, and extracurricular events
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and school-wide initiatives
Ideal Music Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Music in secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Music Teacher
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic about inspiring young musicians
