Nursery Assistant

We are looking for a warm, caring, and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join an early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children and supporting their development in a nurturing and engaging environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Assistant:

• Support the daily routines and activities of the nursery

• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5

• Assist with the planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning opportunities

• Provide care, comfort, and support to children, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met

• Work closely with nursery staff to monitor and record children's progress

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Ideal Nursery Assistant:

• Experience working in an early years setting (nursery, crèche, or similar)

• A gentle, patient, and friendly manner

• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

• Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Assistant.

• A commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing

• A relevant Level 2/3 childcare qualification (preferred but not essential)
