We are looking for a full-time Head of Room Nursery Nurse to join our partnered bilingual French Montessori nursery in Clapham with an immediate start. Our nursery is a well established and family run nursery with 50 children. The nursery is a light, bright and fun environment.
As a Head of Room, you will be passionate about childcare and will play a key role at this exciting stage of the growth for the Nursery.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Full responsibility of the room incl. children developments and staff practises
- Lead the team of 3 other staff in the room. Head of the team leads by example, setting hard work ethics and caring towards the team
- To act as a leader for the overall nursery and collaborate on the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for all children at the nursery
- To support key children
- To assist in promoting equal opportunities and the inclusion of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
- To liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members
- To work alongside the team to ensure the Montessori philosophy is fulfilled.
The successful candidate must be qualified to Level 3 or above in childcare, be an experienced nurse, have a firm understanding and experience of the Early years foundation stage and also will be looking for a full-time position per week. Montessori experience and/or French language is helpful but not mandatory.
