Nursery Nurse

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a friendly early years team on a permanent contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape children’s early development in a caring, stimulating environment. Beginning at the end of September 2025.

Duties as Nursery Nurse:

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities that support learning and development.

• Monitor and record each child’s progress, sharing observations with colleagues and parents/carers.

• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider nursery team.

• Ensure the nursery remains safe, clean and welcoming, and that safeguarding policies are followed at all times.

Ideal Nursery Nurse:

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent).

• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.

• A nurturing, patient approach and excellent communication skills as a Nursery Nurse.

• Good understanding of safeguarding, child protection and the EYFS statutory requirements.
