Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join an early years team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, creative, and engaging learning experiences for children aged 3–5, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping young minds in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Beginning August 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote all areas of development

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Track and assess children’s progress using observation and assessment tools

  • Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s development

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to individual learning plans

  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and a love for learning

Ideal Nursery Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status)

  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development

  • Experience teaching in a nursery or early years classroom

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Nursery Teacher.

  • A nurturing, creative, and reflective approach

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
