Nursery Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting the early development of young children in a nurturing and creative environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive early years setting. Beginning June 2025.

Duties as Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning activities for children aged 2–5.

• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.

• Assist with planning and setting up engaging activities that promote learning through play.

• Support children with their personal, social, and emotional development.

• Observe and record children’s progress to help inform future planning.

• Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all children at all times.

Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• A genuine passion for working with young children.

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or working towards).

• Experience in an early years or nursery setting is desirable.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.

• A proactive, caring, and patient approach.
