We are working with a Secondary School who are looking for a recent graduate with a specialism in PE to work as a full-time Cover Supervisor starting immediately. There would be no planning or marking with this role and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience before completing their teacher training. Intially the role continues until the end of the term but is likely to be extended until July.

Developing strong, positive, and trusting relationships with pupils and their families allows them to work in collaboration to ensure all pupils fulfill their potential and develop their talents. If you feel this position of PE Teacher is for you please check the requirements for the role below.

Role: 

• Strong Physical Education curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4 PE

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with the safe use and storage of all equipment

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, ranging lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school

• Bachelor's degree in related subject

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching PE at secondary school level.

• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management

• A relevant PE or Sports related degree is desirable.
