PE Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher with a strong track record of engaging and inspiring female students in sport and physical education.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, inclusive school committed to promoting healthy lifestyles, physical confidence, and positive attitudes toward fitness, especially among girls. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a PE Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons to girls across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Promote participation, enjoyment, and achievement in a range of sports and physical activities
Support students of all abilities, building confidence and encouraging lifelong healthy habits
Contribute to extracurricular sport, including after-school clubs and inter-school competitions
Collaborate with colleagues to promote an inclusive and engaging PE curriculum
Ideal PE Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in PE or a related subject
Experience teaching PE to girls, with a strong understanding of strategies that improve engagement
A passion for sport, fitness, and student wellbeing
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as a PE Teacher.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
