PE Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and motivated PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a part-time, long-term temporary basis, starting in November 2025.
Pupils enjoy a broad and engaging curriculum that prepares them well for the future. They learn in well-structured lessons and achieve across a wide range of subjects. Behaviour is respectful and routines are clear, creating a safe and inclusive environment. Pupils are encouraged to be themselves and take pride in leadership roles. Enrichment opportunities, including trips and clubs, help broaden their horizons and support character development.
Duties as a PE Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, with a focus on teaching female students.
Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a positive attitude toward health and well-being.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
Contribute to extracurricular sports and physical activities where possible.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and participation during lessons and activities.
Ideal PE Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching PE to female students.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills as a PE Teacher.
A positive, energetic, and inclusive approach to teaching.
