PE Teacher – Full-time, temporary, long-term cover from November 2025

This full-time PE Teacher role begins in November 2025 and offers ongoing cover at a well-supported secondary school. The school provides a calm and inclusive learning environment where pupils are respectful and eager to learn. Staff are proud to work there, and leaders are committed to continuous improvement. Pupils benefit from a broad curriculum and strong pastoral support, helping them to feel safe and thrive academically and personally.

Duties as PE Teacher:

Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum
Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during practical activities
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress
Support pupils’ physical development and promote healthy lifestyles
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver extracurricular sports activities
Uphold school policies and contribute to the wider school community

Ideal PE Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching PE in secondary schools
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills as a PE Teacher
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Enthusiastic about inspiring young people through sport and physical education
