PE Teacher – Full-time, long-term cover from January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school community. Duties as PE Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across key stages, with a focus on female students
Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
Organise and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and school competitions
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils
Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and events

Ideal PE Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching PE, particularly to female students
Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and inclusive teaching practices
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Passionate about promoting physical activity and student wellbeing
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
