​Step Teachers are working with a secondary school based in Haringey to source a PE teacher to join their department from September 2022. This role is available on a full-time basis and for the right candidate, this could lead to a permanent role being offered.

The school is a “Good” Ofsted rated school that has been praised for effective teaching and pupils’ enthusiastic approach to lessons. The school have outstanding leadership which has seen exam results improve significantly.

The role:

• Strong PE curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom and sports area’s with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching PE

• Relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
