​​Step Teachers are searching for a Physical Education Teacher for 4 days a week until the end of May, located in Great Yarmouth

The school is a “good” Ofsted-rated school whose pupil’s achievement has risen since the school opened. The senior leaders routinely monitor the progress of the students who are at a disadvantage and provide intensive support for those who need it most. Behaviour is good and pupils are respectful and courteous towards staff and their peers. 

As the ideal PE Teacher for this role, you will:

  • Possess strong knowledge of the Physical Education curriculum across the KS3 and KS4 levels

  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Upkeep a safe and considerate learning environment

  • Display a strong, mentoring personality toward students

  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, working to inspire good behaviour and a passion for learning

  • Cooperate with and support your colleagues and assistant staff

  • Be able to accurately assess and report on your students, and articulate solutions to their difficulties

  • Comply with and implement the school's policies, and take part in their supportive educational ethos

Requirements for this role:

  • QTS or equivalent

  • Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Physical Education

  • A relevant subject-related degree is desirable
