PE Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Duties as PE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across relevant year groups
  • Teach and support female students in developing physical skills and confidence
  • Promote teamwork, participation, and healthy lifestyles
  • Maintain a safe and well‑managed sports environment
  • Assess progress within lessons and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to departmental planning and consistent practice
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching PE
  • Confident teaching female student groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of varying abilities
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Reflective, proactive, and committed to pupil progress
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
