Personal Assistant to the Headteacher

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Headteacher of a thriving secondary school in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced school administrator to assume a pivotal role in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.

Role Details:

• Job Title: PA to the Headteacher
• Location: Enfield, North London
• Start Date: ASAP 
• Contract Type: Full-time, long-term 
• Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing professional and confidential administrative support to the Headteacher
• Managing the Headteacher’s diary, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
• Handling sensitive correspondence and communications
• Preparing reports, agendas, and minutes for meetings
• Liaising with staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders on behalf of the Headteacher
• Supporting wider school administrative tasks as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience working in a school setting (this is essential – applications without school-based experience will not be considered)
• Previous experience in a PA, Office Manager, or Senior Administrator role
• Exceptional organisation, communication, and time-management skills
• The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Confidence using school MIS systems and Microsoft Office packages
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
