Step Teachers are recruiting Primary Supply Teachers in Potters Bar and surrounding areas for our pool of supply staff to start as soon as possible.

We’re recruiting Primary Supply Teachers for daily cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Potters Bar and surrounding areas.

Duties as Primary Supply Teacher:
  • Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Manage behaviour effectively and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Mark work and leave feedback for the class teacher where required
  • Work collaboratively with support staff to meet pupil needs
Ideal Primary Supply Teacher:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • Is confident working across different age groups and settings
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills as a Primary Supply Teacher
  • Is flexible, reliable and enthusiastic about supply teaching
  • Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
