Psychology Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and organised Psychology Cover Supervisor to support teaching staff by supervising classes during planned or unplanned staff absences. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in psychology or an interest in the subject to gain classroom experience and support student learning. Beginning ASAP.

Duties as Psychology Cover Supervisor:

• Supervising classes and maintaining a positive, productive learning environment

• Delivering pre-prepared work and supporting students with understanding tasks

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Providing feedback to teachers on student engagement and progress

• Supporting the overall smooth running of the psychology department

Ideal Psychology Cover Supervisor:

• Have experience or interest in psychology (teaching experience is desirable but not essential)

• Be confident managing groups of students effectively

• Be organised, reliable, and adaptable to different classroom settings

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Psychology Cover Supervisor.

• Be committed to supporting students’ learning and wellbeing
