Job description

Step Teachers are currently seeking a Reception Teacher for a brilliant primary School within the Plymouth area. The role is to cover Thursday and Friday. There is no planning and marking required. 

The role of the Primary Teacher entails covering set lessons within a variety of Primary settings. You teach students, mark assignments, and maintain records of their progress. The school strives to create a safe, high-quality learning environment that acknowledges the importance of relationships and responsibilities as an important foundation for all learning experiences.

Role: 

  • Strong KS1/2 knowledge

  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed 

  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable 

  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required 

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 

  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively  

Requirements: 

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of 

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience in Primary

  • Living within or commutable distance from Plymouth
