Position: Reception Teacher

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Start Date: September 2024  

Type: Full-time

Step Teachers are a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts; as a part of our ongoing success in building and retaining relationships with many schools and academy trusts in the area, we are currently looking for a Reception Teacher in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time teaching role to start in September 2024.

Reception Teacher – Role:

  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum at Reception level.
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school.
  • Able to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons.
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively.

Reception Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School in an Early Years setting.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • SEND experience is desirable.
